JASRx.com : online prescription refill portal
The Internet connection between you and your patients.

Pharmacy professionals have traditionally been on the cutting edge of technology. We invite you to go one step further to enhance your business and your service to your patients with JASRx.com. This feature of our JASRx

pharmacy management system

allows your patients to send messages via the Internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In turn, you'll be able to advertise special store promotions directly to your patients such as cholesterol screenings or popular products you have on sale.

JASRx.com allows your patients to view their prescription profile, initiate

online refill requests

for any "Active" prescription(s) and indicate the date and time that they plan to pick up their medicine. They can also view their "Inactive" prescription profile, which contains prescriptions that are not refillable and therefore require their doctor's approval before they can be refilled. Your patients can view the status of a pending refill request such as "Ready for Pickup" or "Waiting for prescriber approval."

With JASRx.com your patients have the ability to ask you or one of your staff pharmacists a question confidentially, with an option to remain completely anonymous. You can respond to their questions and make recommendations to them based upon the medications they are using, and you can do it when it's convenient for you and your staff. Patients can review and update their personal contact information (address, phone number, email address, etc.), and they can also review the allergy and medical condition information you have on file to make sure it's accurate.

With JASRx.com, your patients can view patient education information pertaining to a particular drug they are taking. The "Patient Education" may include: a picture of the drug, common uses of the drug, possible side effects, special instructions for taking the medication, and what to do in case of missed dose or overdose. Some medications have a video that can be viewed to help demonstrate how the drug is to be used. Many drugs have a short quiz at the end of the educational materials, allowing the patient to test their knowledge of the medicine. The results of the quizzes are sent to you, so that you can review them and set up further instruction for the patient, if necessary.
